Laura stated that she has completed our Preparation Program and is now ready to get out and find a job and let her new skills take her to another level while staying focused and entering into the 2nd phase of the reentry program or the Transitional Phase @ Outreach Reentry Ministry, you need to contact them if you are a ex-offender or if you have a family member incarcerated!
As prison reentry volunteers we are always excited to see the inmate get out and succeed. "It ain't over" is one of the saying here at Outreach Reentry Ministry and it's a slogan that seems to keep everybody going. After all if God is far us who can be against us!!!!!!!!
Using this time to get our heads together and to get things right with God! Thank you JESUS! At first I didn't know if I could really make it in here, but since I have turned everything over to Jesus my life has changed and my mind has been renewed!!!!!!!
Our vision is to provide services to prisoner, ex-offenders and their family members. We provide the aftercare support for the development and implementation of comprehensive and collaborative reentry strategies specifically designed to increase public safety by reducing recidivism!
Outreach Reentry Ministry and their volunteers are great and I want to thank everyone for your support (The dinner was extra great) Thank you Jesus!!!!!
We might be locked up physically but we are now free spiritually. We really enjoy the Friday evening services that Outreach Reentry Ministry brings to us while we are incarcerated here in Alabama. This is what I really want to be apart of once I'm released. I would encourage anyone that has someone incarcerated or if you are an ex-offender to please contact one of the counselors at Outreach Reentry Ministry for their spiritual counseling.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet the needs of the women with the tools necessary once they are released back into society. Immediate housing and employment is needed, so please make the very best gift possible. Remembering Matthew 25:36 when Jesus said "I was in prison and ye came unto me".
