Our Preparation Aftercare Classes are designed to prepare men for life after prison with the necessary tools and resources needed to make a smooth transition. We offer these classes within the correctional facilities nationwide through the Pre-Release and Work Release programs.
We also offer these Preparation Aftercare Classes through the court system assisting the Judges and District Attorney with the Community Correction Programs.
When the ex-prisoner leaves the prison gates our experienced trained reentry volunteers make sure he or she has safe housing, food, clothing and the many other key supports.
During the early days after release ex-prisoners need daily encouragement and assistance until the crisis levels needed are resolved. Then they need continued weekly contact, spiritual guidance, and emotional support as they find employment and begin to rebuild relationships and adapt to their new life outside of prison.
"I was in prison and you came unto me" Matthew 25:36
Fight the good fight of Faith
Volunteers continue to disciple and assist the ex-prisoner forward establishing consistent personal healthy relationships, spiritual growth and church commitment. One very important sign of stabilization is when the ex-prisoner becomes involved in serving others in the community instead of expecting to be served. This phase of reentry is our long-term aftercare program which is an on-going process.

Laura stated that she has completed our Preparation Program and is now ready to get out and find a job and let her new skills take her to another level while staying focused and entering into the 2nd phase of the reentry program or the Transitional Phase @ Outreach Reentry Ministry, you need to contact them if you are a ex-offender or if you have a family member incarcerated!
As prison reentry volunteers we are always excited to see the inmate get out and succeed. "It ain't over" is one of the saying here at Outreach Reentry Ministry and it's a slogan that seems to keep everybody going. After all if God is far us who can be against us!!!!!!!!
Using this time to get our heads together and to get things right with God! Thank you JESUS! At first I didn't know if I could really make it in here, but since I have turned everything over to Jesus my life has changed and my mind has been renewed!!!!!!!
Our vision is to provide services to prisoner, ex-offenders and their family members. We provide the aftercare support for the development and implementation of comprehensive and collaborative reentry strategies specifically designed to increase public safety by reducing recidivism!
As a Team Member of Outreach Reentry Ministry I am looking forward to working with our Staff and Volunteers as we seek to take our services to national agencies like the Southern Poverty Law Center and beyond as we offer our services to the less of these!!!!!
Mr. Raymond Comeau a faithful Team Member of Outreach Reentry Ministry is from New Jersey but now resides in Costa Rica with his wife Yamilette. Raymond is the author of the book "What Bad We Do" as a reference for ex-offenders to help reduce recidivism.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet the needs of the women with the tools necessary once they are released back into society. Immediate housing and employment is needed, so please make the very best gift possible. Remembering Matthew 25:36 when Jesus said "I was in prison and ye came unto me".
